Topic Notes

The reference material on this page consists of topic shorts, which break material into easily digestible pieces presented in text or video; questions, which are required of you when we discuss the material in class; exercises, optional practice work for the home or classroom; and information, outlined notes and wiki pages to related material elsewhere.

Topic shorts consist of textual scripts, and as soon as possible, matching video recordings of these scripts. Most videos were created as pencasts, recordings of what I say, write or draw. You can see the final visual with any pdf reader, but to watch the video, use Acrobat 10.x. This will allow you to use the visual as an index: clicking on a word or picture will you directly to the matching spot in the video.
